Country Overview
Located in Central Europe, Hungary connects Eastern and Western Europe and is a major transport and trade hub. Many European destinations are within three hours. Hungarian is the national language, with English and German widely used. It has a temperate continental climate, with July and August the warmest months. Education spending is around 5% of GDP, above the EU average, and public education is free for 19 years.
Program overview (3–6 months)
Invest EUR 250,000 in a government-approved real estate fund and hold it for five years to obtain a ten-year residence permit. The fund may be redeemed after five years. Three years of residence within ten years may qualify for permanent residency. Holders can travel across 29 Schengen countries, work, do business and purchase property; renewal may be granted for another ten years.

The main applicant must be at least 18 with no criminal record.

Invest at least EUR 250,000 in a Hungarian real estate fund and hold it for at least five years.

No age, language or business background restrictions and no minimum stay requirement.
